This World War II (WWII) database lists the names of individual veterans from all branches of the US military including Army, Army Air Corps, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines. The database includes the names, birth, service numbers, dates of service, casualty and unit information for the thousands of WWII veterans that we have researched at the National Archives. All of the military service data on this page is public information that we have worked to provide free of charge for genealogists, historians and the general public.
